Contemporary dance is a collection of Jazz, Lyrical and Modern dance styles that are presented in distinct and sometimes genre-blending dance pieces. In the Academy's Contemporary Company, students have extra performance opportunities, rehearsal time, exposure to a variety of talented guest artists, exclusive classes and an accelerated curriculum for experienced serious dancers.
Acceptance to the Contemporary Company is by audition for ages 7 and above and is structured for the committed student who is physically capable and dedicated to rigorous dance training.
