Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal @ CCAE
December 11 @ 3:00 pm - 9:15 pm
PLEASE NOTE: This is a CLOSED REHEARSAL to eliminate distractions and to keep everything a surprise for the big performance. Plan to drop your dancer off at security and pick them up at security when they are released. Parents are not allowed in the theatre seats to watch the dress rehearsal.
Students must ARRIVE ON TIME, in FULL HAIR and MAKE-UP (without lipstick). Please label their lipstick with their name and bring it in a plastic bag. Always a good idea to put their name on everything! They will apply lipstick before they rehearse. Dancers should already be dressed in their nude leotards with clean, pink tights and should wear something comfortable and easy to take off over their leotard (e.g. a comfy zip up track suit).

ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY
All students participating in The Nutcracker are required to attend the Dress Rehearsal. This is the only rehearsal students will have to practice everything on stage at CCAE, in costume, with sets and props. Dress rehearsals are always mandatory as they are vital to a production. Students set their spacing on stage, find their entrance/exit, prop use and storage, as well as timing costume changes and so much more. All students are required to be present for their own safety and for the safety of the other dancers as they all familiarize themselves in the new space and surroundings. There will also be a professional photographer taking action photos of the students on stage.
