Wes Dameron

Wes Dameron is a professional performer from San Diego, trained in Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary dance among other styles. He has trained with the Alvin Ailey School of American Dance and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the University of California Santa Barbara. He has worked in professional restagings of works by Jerome Robbins (West Side Story), and Michael Bennett (A Chorus Line), as well as dancing in restagings of George Balanchine (The Four Temperaments, Agon), and Jose Limon (Misa Brevis). In 2018, he danced with Santa Barbara Dance Theater in an original piece by Christopher Pilafian. In 2019, he received a Corwin Award for Excellence for his own choreographic work Atlas Reflection. “Dance is the hidden language of the soul" - Martha Graham.
