PRE-BALLET CLASSES

Pre-Ballet classes are a wonderful way to introduce your little one to dance!

In this 45 minute long combo class, students can be expressive, creative, and use their imagination while learning the basic principles of ballet and tap.

Ages 2.5 - 3

Ballet & Tap Combo Class

45 Minutes (One class per week)

Students will expand their listening skills, coordination, balance, spatial awareness, while also being introduced to fundamental positioning, and so much more!

Bluebells

Ages 3 - 4

Ballet & Tap Combo Class

45 Minutes (One class per week)

Students take the next step in this hour long class. In addition to the basics from previous levels, they will learn rhythm, direction, how to listen and count music with an understanding of using music in motion.

Lilacs

Ages 4 - 5

Ballet & Tap Combo Class

1 Hour (One class per week)

Adding to the foundation exercises from previous levels, students learn how to memorize short dance sequences, listening to the count, and putting music in motion.

PRE-PROFESSIONAL ACADEMY CLASSES​

Pre-Professional Academy classes are designed for students who have a passion for dance with goals in mind. Classes are more narrow in age and technical ability than our Recreational classes and the curriculum is designed to challenge and advance dancers at a faster pace.

Elementary is the transition level from the combo class into a full hour ballet class. Students will learn the important principles of proper ballet technique and alignment with attention to detail. This creates a strong foundation for the years to follow.

Elementary

Ages 6 - 8

Ballet - 1 class a week

1 Hour (per class)

Division 1 is a beginner level class, recommended for students who have completed one year of Elementary, or 8-9 year olds who are new to ballet and hope to go through our pre-professional program. They continue to work on precision in placement and alignment while slowly being introduced to more complicated steps.

Division 1

Ages 7 - 9

Ballet - 1 or 2 classes a week

1 Hour (per class)

Curriculum for Division 2 students starts at 2 ballet classes per week. With a solid understanding of placement, alignment, and ballet terminology, Division 2 dancers are now moving at a more intermediate pace. A minimum of 1 year of recent ballet technique training is a prerequisite for Division 2 students.

Division 2

Ages 8 - 11

Ballet - 2 Classes a week

1.25 Hours (per class)

D3 dancers start to practice more intricate combinations and complex steps, while still focusing on proper technique and building strength and flexibility. They will begin to focus on exercises which strengthen their bodies and prepare them for pre-pointe. A minimum of (2) years of recent ballet technique training is a prerequisite. (2) ballet classes, and (1-2) pre-pointe classes per week.

Division 3

Ages 9+

Ballet + Pre-Pointe - Multiple Classes

3 Hours (per week minimum)

Curriculum at this level starts at (3) ballet technique classes per week as well as 2 (pre) pointe classes. A minimum of (3) years of recent ballet technique training is a prerequisite.

Division 4

Ages 10+

Ballet Technique, Pointe, PBT, Eleve

Curriculum for this high intermediate-Advanced level ballet class is 3 classes per week, along with (2-3) pointe classes.

Division 5

Ages 11+

Ballet Technique, Pointe, PBT, Company

Curriculum for this Advanced level ballet class is (3) classes per week, along with (2-3) pointe classes.

Division 6

Ages 12+

Ballet Technique, Pointe, PBT, Company

Audition Required

A select group of ballet students who strive to train and perform at the highest level. Company students take additional classes, have additional performance opportunities, and are invited to attend TBA Festival.
