Alyse Morgan

Alyse started dancing at age 8 at Children’s Ballet Theatre in Salt Lake City, Utah. She very quickly fell in love with the art and dove in head first. She spent summers out of state at intensives including Kaatsbaan, Atlanta Ballet, Steps on Broadway and Disneyland. As a dedicated dancer, she was accepted into the University of Utah Ballet Department, a program which has consistently been ranked in the top 10% since 1996, at the age of 15 and began taking university classes by junior year of High School. Alyse graduated from the Ballet Department with an emphasis in performance and teaching. Alyse has been teaching for over 17 years and is passionate and dedicated to the growth of her students. Alyse’s mission in teaching is to teach dancers to trust themselves, take risks, work hard, know & listen to their bodies and express themselves in the ballet world and in their own world outside of dance. In teaching, she prioritizes expression and the power that it has to transform lives. Alyse creates a safe place where students can begin to explore their relationship to their body both physically and emotionally, helping them to know when to push and when to rest, learning how they most enjoy movement and helping each of them with their personal artistry. Outside of teaching Alyse is a professional singer-songwriter who loves skiing, hiking, yoga, and exploring nature. She is so excited to be a part of the 4S family!
