Kiana has been dancing since she was 11 years old after moving to San Diego from Ft. Lauderdale Florida. She immediately fell in love with dance and trained all she could because she knew she wanted to teach and choreograph. Starting off in an Assisting program with Expressions Dance and Movement Center she soon started teaching at 14 with their Junior Faculty program, where she learned the fundamentals in teaching while continuing to study under MTJG, YPAD, Acrobatic Arts, and other guest teachers. Kiana participated in choreography workshops, master classes, and competition dance. She competed in solos and group numbers, up to productions. At 16, she choreographed solos, duos, and groups for competitions, and continue choreographing years of recitals. Kiana is currently a part of an adult dance company called Impact Dance Company (IDC) in Santee California, where she is doing dance projects, performing, and training. As well as performing with IDC she has performed for Kevin Jenkins’ choreography projects and side dance projects with The Dance House SD and performing in San Diego fairs. Kiana is excited to continue her journey with 4S Dance Academy!
