Dancing over the summer not only helps develop balance, strength and coordination, it is FUN and keeps your kids happy doing what they love! 4SDA has designed various Summer Programs to engage, challenge and captivate dancers of all ages!
Dance Camps
Looking for a safe and awesome weekday activity? Our Dance Camps are designed to keep your dancer happy and busy while allowing you to get some work done! Time will fly by for your dancer as they enjoy a mix of dance classes, story time and arts & crafts.

Students will step into the exciting world of dance while discovering their own unique interests and talents in the Summer Sampler camp. They will have the opportunity to learn and practice a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and more. Led by experienced instructors who are passionate about teaching, each session will focus on developing fundamental techniques, fostering creativity, and building confidence on the dance floor. Whether they're aspiring ballerinas, funky hip hop dancers, or curious about trying something new, students will not only have improved their dance skills but also formed new friendships and developed a deeper appreciation for the art of dance!
Get ready for magical week! Your child’s imagination will soar during this wonderful program and we will have a dance packed week with lots of fairy, dragon, and unicorn fun! Students will start each day with a combination dance class that includes daily ballet in addition to jazz, tap, musical theater, or tumbling. We will explore stories about mystical creatures and students will also enjoy making their own creations during daily arts & crafts!
Welcome to Zombie Pom, where the grooves of the undead meet the spirit of cheer! Inspired by the infectious energy of Disney's "Zombies," this camp is designed to ignite a passion for movement and rhythm while building confidence and coordination. Students will love learning iconic moves and routines to the hit soundtrack, while also unleashing their creativity through engaging arts and crafts. From designing their own zombie pom-poms to dancing zombie cheer style, every moment at Zombie Pom Dance Camp is filled with fun and imagination!
Get ready for a Paw-Party! Students will enjoy reliving adventurous moments from their favorite animal shows like Paw Patrol, Bluey, Gabby's Dollhouse and more! They will participate in hip-hop, jazz, creative movement, ballet, and tumbling classes throughout the themed week, creating pup-tastic crafts and climbing through obstacle courses. Get ready for an adventurous time!
Put on your tap shoes and get ready to make some noise at Happy Feet Tap & Jazz Camp! This summer, dancers will learn the basics of tap and jazz, develop their rhythm, and create fun routines. It's a great way to make friends, build confidence, and have a "hoppin'" good time!
Get ready for a Troll-tastic time! This magical camp offers an unforgettable journey through music, movement, and creativity inspired by the whimsical world of Trolls! From Poppy's infectious enthusiasm to Branch's catchy tunes, every day brings a dance combo class guaranteed to get those feet tapping and those spirits soaring. Students will also unleash their artistic talents through engaging arts and crafts. From crafting their own Troll-inspired accessories to creating colorful masterpieces, every child will have the opportunity to express themselves and bring their imagination to life. Have your dancer join us for a camp filled with laughter, friendship, and plenty of hair-raising fun!
Are you Ready For It?! Come Shake it Off to your favorite Taylor Swift songs! Students will learn a variety of dance styles infused with Taylor Swift's signature moves, from upbeat pop choreography to graceful lyrical routines. Inspired by her message of friendship and unity, students will craft colorful bracelets and more during daily crafts to share with their friends! Whether your child is a dedicated Swiftie or simply loves to dance, this camp offers a supportive and inclusive environment for kids to shine and unleash their inner performer!
Defy gravity this summer at Wicked Musical Theater and Jazz Camp! Performers ages 10+ will explore the magical world of Oz through song, dance, and acting. Focusing on scenes and musical numbers from Wicked, campers will hone their jazz technique, develop their character voices, and learn what it means to be changed for good. It's a wickedly wonderful experience!
Under the Sea Dance Camp offers a magical experience where students can unleash their creativity and explore the wonders of dance in a whole new world! Inspired by Disney's A Little Mermaid, students will love dancing to the iconic songs in a daily dance class. They will relive the beloved tale during story time and will express themselves with under the sea creations during arts and crafts. From graceful mermaid spins to lively crab dances, students will learn basic dance techniques while embodying the spirit of their favorite undersea characters, expressing themselves and bringing their aquatic fantasies to life!
If your child loves dancing Hip Hop, this dynamic camp is a perfect fit! Designed to introduce dancers to the electrifying world of Hip Hop while incorporating engaging activities, games, and choreography sessions, this camp has it all! Every day promises dancers new adventures and opportunities for growth. No experience is necessary!
Set sail for adventure at Island Dreams Dance Camp! This summer, young explorers ages 3-6 will embark on a magical journey inspired by Disney's Moana. Through creative movement, imaginative play, and lively music, campers will discover the joy of dance while learning basic steps and developing coordination. It's a "wayfinding" experience filled with laughter, friendship, and the spirit of aloha!
Set sail on a rhythmic adventure at Island Rhythms Jazz Technique Dance Camp! Inspired by Moana, this camp for ages 7-10 will immerse dancers in dynamic jazz technique classes. Campers will learn exciting choreography, develop their musicality, and discover the joy of movement. It's a 'wayfinding' experience they won't soon forget!

They will learn basic dance techniques, improve coordination, and boost confidence while grooving to their favorite songs. Each day brings new adventures as campers explore different dance styles and will also enjoy making their own creations during daily arts & crafts! Our camp offers a magical experience filled with imaginative dance routines inspired by their personal heroes!
Get ready to unleash your inner Descendant at Descen-dance Camp with Red! This summer, kids ages 6-10 will explore the vibrant world of Disney's Descendants through fun and engaging dance routines. Led by the energetic "Red," campers will learn choreography inspired by their favorite characters and songs, all while making new friends and building confidence. It's a wickedly awesome dance adventure they won't want to miss!

They will learn basic dance techniques, improve coordination, and boost confidence while grooving to their favorite Barbie songs. Each day brings new adventures as campers explore different dance styles and will also enjoy making their own creations during daily arts & crafts! Our camp offers a magical experience filled with imaginative dance routines inspired by Barbie herself!
Step into the spotlight at Pop Star Barbie Dance Camp! This summer, dancers will channel their inner pop star with high-energy routines inspired by Barbie's glamorous world. Campers will learn exciting choreography, develop stage presence, and discover the joy of performing. It's a dazzling dance adventure that will leave them feeling like true superstars!
Chill out from the summer heat with this fun snowy themed camp! Students will enjoy reliving magical moments from Frozen and other snow stories that we all love so much. They will participate in hip-hop, jazz, creative movement, ballet, and tumbling classes throughout the cool themed week, creating fun winter shapes and snowy dances, twirling through imaginary ice castles, building a snowman, and having a fun snowball fight! Get ready for snow much fun!
Ballet Intensive Programs
Students can further refine their technique, learn new technique and take their overall skill level to new heights with Summer Ballet Intensives! Our Intensives are designed to challenge the intermediate and advanced dancer in a positive environment accelerating a dancer’s growth. We love taking dedicated students to the next level! [4SDA Fall 2025 Primary & Elementary Ballet Students, Beginner New Students] Students will enjoy multiple classes and will also be introduced to PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique). They will learn about different storybook ballets (Swan Lake, Coppelia, etc.) throughout the week, fun choreography, while participating in arts and crafts and more! The last day of class will conclude with a mini performance.
[4SDA Fall 2025 D1 - D3 students, Intermediate new students] Students will deepen their understanding of ballet fundamentals, build strength and flexibility, and learn age-appropriate variations from classical ballets. There will be a focus on musicality, artistry, and developing strong performance skills. The last day of camp on Friday will conclude with a mini performance.
[4SDA Fall 2025 D4 - D7 students, Int./Adv. new students] This program is designed for the intermediate or advanced dancer who is ready to excel in their ballet technique. Curriculum will include daily ballet class, as well as pointe/pre-pointe, variations, PBT, turns and leaps, stretch and strengthening, repertoire, and pilates. Dancers will also be given classes in jazz, contemporary ballet, contemporary, choreography, acting, ballet discussion groups, and so much more!

4SDA’s Summer Workshops are designed to immerse students in a specific class, style, and curriculum. Over the course of the workshop they will be challenged to learn and grow, taking their dancing, singing and performing to the next level!

[Intermediate/Advanced] Students sharpen their technique in this four day long intensive! You'll be turning your way through summer after you refine your skills in this workshop with an emphasis on ballet, jazz, and contemporary!
[Intermediate/Advanced] This class is designed for intermediate/advanced students who have started their training on pointe. Don't let summer go by without putting those pointe shoes on! Join us for (4) days of ballet and pointe classes with conditioning to feel prepared, confident and ready for the upcoming school year!
[Intermediate/Advanced] Ignite your dancer's passion for movement and creativity with our Modern and Contemporary Workshop! Designed for intermediate to advanced dancers, this workshop is led by experienced instructors versed in the latest trends and techniques in modern and contemporary dance. Dancer's will have unparalleled opportunity to expand their artistic horizons and refine their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. From exploring fluidity and expression to mastering intricate choreography, they will embark on a journey of self-discovery and artistic growth while building strength, flexibility, and confidence.
Shrunken Shrek is a fun-filled summer workshop where students dive into the world of Shrek the Musical! They’ll act, dance, and sing their way through favorite numbers while workshopping scenes and more! Students will build confidence exploring what makes these quirky characters come to life on stage. Plus, they'll get a head start on preparing for auditions for the fall production class, gaining valuable insights and tips to help them shine!
Summer FAQs
With Early Bird Pricing, you are already saving $20 per camp, workshop or intensive when you register before 3/31/24.
Save an additional 5% when you register your dancer in (3) or more summer camps, intensives and/or workshops. In order to receive the discount, please be sure to sign up for (3) or more camps when you register (sign up for 3+ at the same time).
Additional siblings also receive an additional 5% discount!
Intensives, Dance Camps & Workshops are similar in that a student will attend (3 to 5) days in a row for (3 to 5) hours per day. They are designed to pack in a lot over the days a student attends and we regularly see accelerated growth in the short period of days.
They differ as Intensives are designed for dancers (ages 7+) with at least some experience, while Dance Camps are designed for dancers (ages 3 – 6) and (ages 7-10) with varying levels of experience. Workshops are designed with specific areas of focus on a dance style or technique. Students in Workshops typically work on a piece or several pieces with a mini performance on the last day.
Our former session is less formal than during the school year. Athletic / dance attire is required for all camps, workshops and classes, but there is not a formal uniform. Our ballet intensives do require students to wear leotards, tights and ballet shoes, but there is no color or style requirement. Proper dance footwear is required for every class, camp and workshop (e.g. ballet shoes, jazz shoes, non-marking sneakers etc.) Please CONTACT US for further detailed information.
Make-ups are not offered during the Summer Session. Camps, Workshops and Intensives are paid for in advance and have specific curriculum designed for each day. Our Open Classes are offered via a drop-in basis, and thus can be canceled at no charge up to 48 hours in advance of the start of the class.
